I am sure by now, many of you have heard that Carolyn Dudley passed away
last night after a long, stubborn fight with cancer.

Those of us who had the pleasure of knowing her can remember her remarkable
spirit and positive attitude in the face of many adversities. She never lost
her zany sense of humor and was always available to help others with their
challenges while downplaying anything happening in her life.

I never heard Carolyn say that something could not be done, but rather, she
would insist everything could be done with just a little more attention and
effort - always with a smile and that Dudley twinkle that always hinted at
the super personality lurking just below her lady-like exterior.

I am sure we will all miss her cheerful presence, each in our own way.  As
we approach the Holiday Season, a time for joy and sharing with friends and
family, perhaps we can each take a moment out to say a prayer for Carolyn
and then enjoy a smile remembering her antics - that's the way I am sure she
would want to be remembered.

Carolyn, while your Z family will miss you, we will all have been better off
for having had the distinct pleasure of having you touch our lives....rest
in peace....
